And so June begins

85 days left in Korea! Wow!!!

Anyways this weekend was another great one!! I just love weekends, don't you? Friday after school Marie and I went to Seongjeong beach to meet up with Albert and Alexandra for an early dinner and some sundowners. It was great fun and a wonderful evening to be at the beach.

After dinner we made our way home and got dressed for a memorable night out. We joined Il, Jin and Han at Eva's to celebrate Il's birthday (we only found that out when we got there...) with a potato cake (?) and some champers. Almost immediately after the cake Il wanted to go to a Noraebang in Heaundae, so off course everyone followed the birthday girl. The Noraebang was quite an experience, because it was very fancy and filled with our Korean friends. As soon as we arrived waiters entered with food, beers and two bottles of whiskey! (So many drinks ... It was crazy!) We sang and danced to weird Korean songs, I even dragged Han and Jim with to sing the Greece hit, Summer nights with me. It was hilarious!

After the Noraebang, Salome, Marie and I decided to go back to Eva's for 'slap chips' and then to Ghetto to go and dance until the sun came up. Ghetto is most probably the dirtiest place I've ever been, but it was fun and great to end the night off with the girls and dancing.

On Sunday Salome and I went to Haeundae Beach for the Busan Sand festival. It was really cool to see what sand artists can do. Those guys are really cool. It was a beautiful day to spend outside, so we decided to go to Gwangali beach after the sand festival for lunch at Breeze Burns. We ended up staying there for hours just watching all the people on the beach.

It was a great and relaxing weekend. Next weekend will be crazy, because of the World Cup opening and the first match. Bring on the week!!
