Naksaeng

One of the major things I miss about Korea is the food. When I first arrived in Korea I would’ve never imagined I would miss the food, but you do. At first the food looks unappetizing, but once your adventurous side takes over diliciousness follows.

As I was strolling around Main Road (Regent Road) Sea point this morning I came across a little place called Korean Happy Kitchen. SMILES! The owner and staff is so friendly and welcoming, I instantly felt like I was back in Busan. On the menu they have gimbap, kimchi chigae, ji jang muang and more delicious Korean dishes as well as complimentary side dishes (Radish, kimchi and sea weed stuff). You would never think that you are sitting in the middle of Sea Point enjoying Korean cuisine.

The food is reasonably priced. A little more than you would probably normally pay at your favorite restaurant, but one must remember that you get an unlimited amount of complimentary side dishes and the most friendly staff you can ever come across. The food is to die for!! I urge everyone to go and experience a little bit of Korea in Sea Point.

(The photo is taking to long, so I will post it some other time)

I feel like such a celebrity. Thanks guys for sending me the most beautiful messages on my birthday. I love and appreciate each and every one!!

Yesterday was spent and celebrated in a spa with my mom and dinner with the whole family at pepenero in town. Such a sick day. I got spoiled to the max and loved every second of it!

Tonight is the big party. 80's prom night baby! Bring your neon and every ugly 80's thing you can find. Will post pics asap.

xx

Enjoy heritage day tomorrow!

Franschhoek is such a nice little place. I spent this past weekend there with the parentals and had a chilled out vibe with my book. Sunday we went to (shit, I can't remember the name) the wine farm across from Tokara in Stellenbosch and had such a nice lunch. Very Top Billing. Check it out. Def something you should try.

onrus.

My first weekend back in the land of milk and honey was spent in Onrus with a few of my friends. Rookie, Pret, Cornel, Bones, Malone and I went for the whole weekend and had a blast. We made lekker potjie kos and just partied like old times. Some of the partying even happened in the car :)
