Not a good soccer day for me. Both my teams got slaughtered.
Before Argentina annihilated Korea we bought some chicken, gimbap and beer and made our way down to Haeudae beach. At the beach we were greeted by probably 5000 korean fans, all dressed in red, geared with their red devil horns and flags - hungry for a good game. (pff)
We were seated about 400m from the screen and struggled to see or even concentrate on the game. The atmosphere was amazing and difficult to describe. There was a cheerleader on the stage egging on the red sea of fans.
Half time after finishing most of the beers and desperately needing the bathroom we left the beach. And a good thing too, it was already hard finding a taxi to take us back to Kyuangsang. We watched the rest of the game at Eva's and was actually relieved to be off the beach with that embarressing final score.
Next time Red Devils. Watch out Nigeria!
